Leather Craft Tools Essential for any Craftsman

I have gone through all the leather craft tools on my workbench and in my shop to come up with what I think is a solid core leather craft tool box. This is not the end all be all or the perfect assortment of tools, but I do think it is a great place to start if you are wanting to begin working with leather. You can always add more tools to this starting point in order to make different tasks ea...

I bought three 441 sewing machines for a $1000 because of poor customer service . One being a 24 inch arm. The 441 clones are very cheap to bring into the U S and sold for very big profits. You would think any dealer would have excellent customer service but I guess greed gets in the way

Again, a fantastic video series! Having only been at this a year, I learned so much watching this series again about 10 months apart. This pattern has many, many of the elements in your pattern packs and that makes it really a perfect practice piece. (and to watch it unfold through the videos!)

Bought some downloadable patterns, sorry to say very disapointed with them. For what I paid I thought I would get some patterns that were perhaps generated using a computer and not hand drawn. The measurements are off and the penmanship is semi readable at best. Did not expect this from such an accomplised leather crafter.

Digital patterns that are large format (hopefully pdf) you can open in Adobe. When you go to print properties you select poster and it will print out in several pages that you just need to line up and connect. It's a pain in the a**, so I only do it once. Then I'll trace and transfer everything to 8x11 so I can put it in the file cabinet with all the other patterns. If they are still to larger to put on 8x11, I'll just fold them up and put into file

Follow and love your videos. In this video, lining your belts, you recommend over sizing the liner so that it hangs out on both side edges. How do you go about trimming the edges? I cut my strap with a wooden strap cutter and trim the lines with sandpaper. Do you have an easier way to trim the edges? Thanks!!!!!

What is the purpose of an inlaid seat? If you had one on your saddle how hard would it be to take it out? As it looks like it making the seat wider with the extra leather? How do you make a ‘lady’ seat? Or a narrower seat ? Is it just building the seat higher?

Not sure if anyone has already addressed this but my handwheel won't rotate by hand because of the type of servo motor it has. Apparently some lock the handwheel (becomes super stiff or almost impossible to move) until you disengage with the feed pedal. That's just slightly pressed before engaging the motor, then you can hand rotate the wheel. I don't know if this is clear. I guess better servo motors don't have this issue? The one that came with my CB4500 does. I thought there was something wrong with the machine initially.
